How do I specify the path to search?

description

Hello all,
Let's say bgre.exe is in the C:\ drive, But I need to search for a text in the directory in D:\ drive.
When I run this command

bgrep.exe -r "Search Text" *.txt

It only searches in C:\ drive.

How do I specify it to search in D:\ drive while the bgrep.exe is located in C:\ drive.

Thanks.

You need to move to the directory that is the root of the search. In your case, run like this:
d:
cd myPathOnD
c:\bgrep.exe ...
